I think it makes sense to take Straighterline in some cases because it's faster and cheaper and the exams are open-book. For certain subjects that comes in handy.
I had asked my adviser about doing so but she had said that that was not possible unless I had a credit to transfer in for the class. Since my major was Organizational Psychology... not great odds of that. I also spent a lot of time playing phone tag with here whenever I had a question because her stock email response was "Let's discuss this over the phone".
It's definitely still a work in progress. A month or so, I got an email from Patten telling me that 45 credits from 2 colleges that I had never attended had been posted to my transcript. -_-
