DSST Retired Exams for 2015

Anyone know if General Anthropology is still up to take for now? I need to get that exam done, rather sooner than later.

What section are you filling with this exam? If for GenEd/Free Electives you might consider criminal justice, it's now listed as six credits. There is another forum member working to clear up the change with TESC as they have not yet recognized the upgrade by prometric or ace. Hopefully this will be taken care of shortly. You could also just contact TESC and ask them to plot the exam into your degree plan.

If they also give you trouble create a helpdesk ticket requesting an appeal. Here is the link to the exam DSST Criminal Justice factsheet, download and attach a copy to your email. I've always found it easier to provide any/all supporting documents in the appeal email to save them from having to investigate it themselves, which it seemed some did not like to do. This will push the registrar and possibly the general ed committee/evaluations team to update, and more than likely reclassify (eg AOJ 102/103), the current credit assignment of the exam. The current DSST list effective date is July 2013.

Another option would be to take the Straighterline course. Use a twofer coupon (BGS310) and take two courses within the month. If you decide to go this route send me a PM.
