Excelsior does have a BS in Health Care Management. You'll mostly only be able to test out of gen ed and free electives. The rest of the courses will have to either be taken at Excelsior or another college. Excelsior offers all of the required courses in 8-week. Charter Oak offers a bachelor's with a major in health care administration and one with a major in health information management. COSC offers all of the required courses for both, but the HIM degree has an 18-credit residency requirement while the HCA program doesn't. COSC will be cheaper than Excelsior. Again, you will mostly only be able to test out of gen ed and free electives. The healthcare courses will have to be taken at COSC or transferred in from another college. In addition to COSC being cheaper than Excelsior, COSC will accept FEMA credits (which are free) directly for your free electives requirement. Excelsior requires that FEMAs be transcribed by Frederick Community College first, and they charge $79 per credit hour. COSC has 5-week, 8-week and 15-week terms.
