Hopefully you are already aware of this, but I do not believe you will be granted 4 semesters of credit for a level 2 score due to the college credit you would have received from the course in your sophomore year. Depending on whether you took 1 semester or 2 semesters in your sophomore year, you have a chance of earning 6-9 additional foreign language credits.
The CLEP foreign language exams have two audio sections, so I would suggest finding some listening sources. Here are some sources that I found quite some time ago (I cannot guarantee the sites are still live):
Bonjour de France! (Apprendre le français)
Le Point du FLE (Le Point du FLE - Annuaire du français langue Ãtrangère - Apprendre le français - Learn French - Aprender francÃs - Französisch lernen)
Maison de Quartier (www.maisondequartier.com - learn french online)
Manchester Metropolitan University: RealFrench.net (RealFrench | French Grammar Games and Vocabulary Exercises)
TV5Monde: Le dictionnaire multifonctions (Le dictionnaire gratuit de TV5MONDE avec Mediadico : dÃfinitions, orthographe, synonymes, traduction)
University of Texas: Français interactif (Français interactif)
French in Action (Resource: French in Action)
Foreign Service Institute’s Language Course: French (FSI Language Courses - French)
First Year French (Français interactif)
Open Learning Initiative: French (Open Learning Initiative | Open Learning Initiative)
LANGMaster: Online French Lessons (Free Online French Lessons, French Course, French-English Dictionary, French audio)
Learn French, BBC website (BBC - Learn French with free online lessons)
