So, I did pass the Saylor.org Bus 210 -Corporate Communications late Friday night.
I only received a 74% compared to getting a 90% on the practice. There were very few identical questions. However, I guess I shouldn't complain, because the practice quizzes and practice finals did prepare me well enough to pass the final.
When I logged in the first time I was proctored to take the final, I did think it was odd it didn't require them to enter a password. I almost said wait, I think this is the wrong test. Which I guess I should have said. Come to think of it, they weren't as thorough at all even in the setup for this test.
So when you do your final, you usually will notice there is a course with the same title as the one you have been studying but with NCCRS in the title. The easiest way to make sure you get the right test is to click on the NCCRS test link on your final exam course page. However, if you're already logged into school.saylor.org, you can also find it in that system. It will list as a single test with one certificate, instead of the practice tests which list all quizzes and the practice final exams.
So in summary I am thankful that Saylor is out there and offering affordable courses, its a great idea. I am also very appreciative they offer Corporate Communications since there are so few options to taking the TESC course. However, I am also happy I am done with Saylor courses. Also a big thank you to this forum for knowing Saylor was out there and recommending it as an option.
