Anila your english is better than some natural born Americans. You just need to get a better grasp on the little points that make it different then many other languages.
I don't know what your native language is but one of the things that gave me a hard time back Many many years ago when I tried to learn Spanish was the what I cal opposite way we word things. We would say "How old are you?" In Spanish they say "¿Cuántos años tienes?" to me that said "How many years do you have?" I can say several words in Spanish that does not mean I could write a sentence or an essay that would make sense.
You are doing an amazing job, but I think you would really benefit from an actual in seat class to help you write in english. Being able to write papers and answer written question will be part of your college career through out the years. Getting a better handle on this now could make all further writing less frustrating.
