Thank you so much hicandle, Lindagerr and BGSU_Alum_86 for your help. This is a lot to me. I have been living USA since 2011, and I actually planning to join St. Leo University in undergraduate level as a transfer student. I already have 3 years bachelors degree for my country. There are following requirements for international students;
Proof of English Language Proficiency
All international candidates for admission must prove English language proficiency by at least one of the following:
1.Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or comparable instrument. Minimum TOEFL score is 550 paper-based, 78 internet-based
2. A minimum of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing system (IELTS)
3. A minimum of a 450 on the verbal component of the SAT
4.Grades of B or higher in English composition courses where English is the institutional language of instruction
4.For transfer students, two semesters with grades of B or higher in English composition courses at regionally accredited post-secondary institutions in the United States
5.Successful completion of a NAFSA-recognized ESL program.
Looking at the St. Leo's website and requirement no (4 transfer student), I found they also provides the CLEP credit. I thought, If I take CLEP college composition, I will meet the requirements for admission as well as the some credit for further studies. I decided to take CLEP instead of taking TOEFL test. That's why I choose to take CLEP. Please suggest me what is the best options for me.
Thanks
