Hello,
I am very nervous about my FIRST CLEP test I will be taking next month. I really cannot afford to wait another six months to take this test, if I fail, since this is the only course I need to graduate by this semester :/. I need to PASS! I made a study plan to prepare for the test, and I was wondering if anyone could please take a look at it and give any suggestions. I would really appreciate it.
I have AP Cliffnotes book, and my plan is to focus on one chapter a day. Let say that first chapter is on "Chemistry", I would read the AP Cliffnotes and use for other resources online such as EP (as solioquy suggested) and REA book as supplements. I would study the chapter until I feel confident on the subject, and then I focus on the next chapter. AP Cliffnotes book has about 17 chapters, so I wanted to give myself about 20 days to study the material. And give me about a week to REVIEW by taking practice test, looking up explanations of answers, and reviewing notes. Will this plan work?
I have not made an appointment to take the test yet because I was not sure when I will be REALLY ready. If I do follow this plan, I am planning to take the test on 10/16/13 (or sometime later that week). I will be studying less than four months. I was planning to give myself more time to study, but I realized that giving myself more time doesn't guarantee a passing score. I will probably suffer more thinking about the test!!
Again, I know nothing about Biology and need to pass this test. Will this plan work? Any suggestions? Should I give myself more time? Any tips on strategies? I would appreciate any information you could provide me!
Thank you.
