I used these 2 books for "The Modern Middle East" test
The Middle East for Dummies: Jr. Davis Craig: 9780764554834: Amazon.com: Books
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Middle East Conflict, 4th Edition: Mitchell G. Bard: 9781592577910: Amazon.com: Books
I think they're really all you need (and a good attitude for learning, which I did not have -- "hey, I watch the news and read the paper, I know all about the middle east" -- BIG mistake)
so yes, I did pass, but just barely
but then, I just barely skimmed through the books
I think if I had really taken the time to really read those 2 books I would have passed by a much bigger margin
I also have this book that I'm currently reading and using for the "Europe since 1945" exam and the CLEP History 1 & 2 exam
Let's Review Global History and Geography: Mark Willner: 9780764133640: Amazon.com: Books
great little book
