The 2012-13 EC Complete Fee Schedule for Undergraduate Programs, and not the section with descriptions but a listing towards the end of the ECE Registration and Information user's guide, list a new Excelsior College Examination (ECE) in Basic Genetics, BIOX 250.
It's listed as offering 3 semester hours of lower-level credit, costing $95, and lasting two hours, with the online practice available for $25.
The main ECE exams page doesn't list this yet. I imagine release is anticipated sometime in the 2012-13 academic year.
