Need help coming up with a plan- details in post
#1
Here is my dilemma: I have two decades of banking industry experience, but no degree. I can't even get an interview anymore without a Bachelors. I struggle remembering dates/names but do well in math. I appreciate any and all suggestions.

I have 34 credits

I sent it all to Charter Oak who gave me credit for the following:

6 written communication credits
3 Lit & Fine arts (humanities)
3 Math (Prob & Statistics)
3 Nat science (nutrition)
3 non-us history (same humanities course - how does that work?)
3 soc/beh (PSY)
3 macroeconomics
3 critical thinking LA
3 ethics - cultural diversity LA
3 -HRM human resource management
3 - written business communication

Where do I even begin

Okay, I think I might be able to help.
First of all, could you list the exact courses they gave you credit for?

Charter Oak is different from TESU in that they will let one course fulfill multiple requirements, hence Humanities and non-US cultures being fulfilled by the same class. You will still need 120 credits total to graduate.

Do you have any certifications or licensure from the banking industry?

And are you looking for a BSBA from Charter Oak or a BS in something else?
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.

COM 120 Effective Persuasive Writing (ENG101)
COM 125 Utilizing Info in College Writing (ENG102)
COM 215 Written Communication (Business) BUS210
HUM 101 Intro to Humanities (IDS104)
MTH 141 Probability & Statistics (MAT105)
SCI 241 Nutrition (BIO105)
PSY 101 Intro to Psychology (PSY101)
ECO 101 Principles of Macro-economics (ECO103)
CRT 205 Critical Thinking (PHL132)
ETH 125 Cultural Diversity (SOC315)
HRM 240 Human Resource Management HRM310

I have a series 66 and 7

I initially considered the BSBA at Charter Oak but this is overwhelming and I would like someone to take a look at it that is more familiar with how this works.

Okay I'm looking but it might take me a little bit.
Sis they say if they counted the HRM310 as upper level or lower level? (Was it from a community college or a university?)

At Charter Oak, Series 66 gives you:
FIN 201: Financial Management (3 credits, lower division level)
PLG 301: Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility (3 credits, upper division level)

and Series 7 gives you:
Financial Markets, Institutions and Instruments (3 credits, upper division level)
Investment Management (3 credits, upper division level)

So that's great, you already have 9 (or possibly 12 with HRM 310) upper level credits.

The HRM 310 was from university, but it does not say if it will be treated as upper or lower. They just listed it under Free Electives.

Thank you for helping me!

If they listed it as HRM 310 and it came from a university, it should be upper level.

I have to tell you, after doing most of this I think it would be profoundly easier to complete a BSBA at TESU. But I'm still working....

Let's see if this works....

Based on the courses you have, plus your Series 66 & 7, I think you have about 40cr at TESU. This is assuming that the Series 66 & 7 still get credit there (the most updated thing I could find on their website is from 2010). I even found an example of what they came in as:

Series 66 >> FIN-332 State Investment Advising 1cr
Series 7 >> FIN-322 Finance Markets 3cr and PHI-285 Marketplace Ethics 3cr

So 7cr, not too shabby - again, if this info is still current.

I created a spreadsheet for you showing a degree plan for the TESU BSBS in General Management. You could get a concentration in Finance, but you will have to find one more FIN course to take elsewhere. Not as easy to find as the other things. If you were to choose Finance, your HRM course would fall down to Free Electives since there's nowhere else for it to go. But that would still be fine.
