I thought I would go ahead and share my experience since I read these threads so much when I was about to take my Humanities Clep.
I passed this Friday with a 61 after studying for literally only 2 days. (I spent about 8-12 hours each day) I used ONLY InstantCert flashcards, which are really good for this exam. I also found an excel spreadsheet in another thread that was very very helpful, so I would look at at least what was highlighted in yellow too.
Coming into the exam I did not feel very confident, and guessed on a good amount of questions....But if you study the IC cards and that spreadsheet a decent amount I think a 50 is not as difficult as you would think. Good luck!
