You have to be more flexible. If i had stopped everytime someone told me "you can't do that" I would only have half a dozen CC credits and a job saying "welcome to wal-mart". This is a nonsensical state regulation....change the paradigm. One avenue didn't work, chase one of the others you have been shown.

I wouldn't buy my books from the college anyway....far to expensive.

There is probably an education specialist affiliated within your husbands command, they should be able to help you find a workaround to Mass. BS rule (if it exists). I am not doubting what you were told....but in academia you regularly get many answers to simple question. Heck call EC, TESC, or COSC.....places known for flexibility in education.....and you can get several different answers to many questions.

Just keep knocking till you find an open door....its not easy......but not really that hard either.
