History Courses for Spring 2 Current Term
#1
Here are the classes I have completed and are currently enrolled in this term:

UL Non-Western History Requirement:     HTY 370 (COMPLETED)
UL Pre-Modern History Requirement:       HTY 301 (ENROLLED)
UL History Requirement:                           HTY 489 (ENROLLED)
UL Political Science Course:                    POS 335 (COMPLETED)
UL Political Science Course:                    POS 343 (ENROLLED/ONLY FINAL LEFT TO SUBMIT)
UL Political Science Course:                    POS 301 (ENROLLED/ONLY FINAL LEFT TO SUBMIT)

I need 4 more UL History courses for this term, Spring 2 in order to graduate in May, this current term.

HTY 350 Sebold is one. Is anyone else enrolled in any UL History Courses that are NOT taught by Dobbs?

I need 3 more and I DO NOT want to take Dobbs! Is anyone else currently enrolled in any other UL History courses? My advisor emailed me and told me she couldn't (or maybe won't?) tell me the professors and courses which are available. Weird, right? She just sent me a list of course numbers off my degree plan which are shown to be options to satisfy the requirement but that didn't even list HTY 350 which I know will satisfy the requirement and I know is available. Not every course is offered every term.

I'm a little frustrated. But hopefully, I will be able to figure it out on my own by asking you all. I will also post on Reddit. I tried to join the Discord but I really don't know how to work Discord so I couldn't find the information I needed.

Thanks in advance!

Maybe I should merge the two... Are you going to be taking the classes mentioned in your other thread? https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...r-Spring-2

Some of them but not all. That is why I made a new post. I didn't want any confusion. The list above is the comprehensive list of the classes I'm currently taking and have completed this term as well as one course I am sure I will be adding.

The previous thread is not correct because I have made some changes.

HTY 313 was pretty manageable per my friend.
HTY 370 native is on longer side but can be done quickly by focusing on reading only for chosen topics on milestones.
HTY 370 Arabic is very quick.

Hop on Discord. They'll know who is teaching which courses. You may not have a choice in which professor you end up with.

its very easy to see the teachers, classic student center click home in search type in class search (select the curriculum management one)

then select presque isle, session online term 2 for the current term and any other relevant details you want

Honestly, out of all the history teachers I would recommend Hinson the most.
He is the fastest grader. Grammar and spelling don't have to be perfect with him, and he's quite reasonable in marking. It's just that with him, the trick is that you must incorporate basically everything you learned in their class in your essays, as many of the bold words that are in his lessons as possible.
