Would LOVE some help with this from you all.
I need to get an MBA, masters degree, or even just an associates from an accredited unviersity as soon as humanly possible for my Canadian permanent residency status to be renewed. Otherwise I and my family will all have to leave Canada, which will be devestating. Ideally I want to be fully done by mid January at the latest. A masters gets me many more points than an associates.
What would be the absolute fastest way to get one of the above if I were to start today?
I have unlimited time for coursework every day, and am very capable. I already have an WEC-approved bachelors.
I have been reading the wiki and trying to wrap my head around UMPI vs WGU vs TESU and transferring in Sophia courses etc but I'm so short on time, and would love help from anyone in the group who is very knowledgeable.
Location: Halifax, NS, Canada
Ideal degree: In order of preference, MBA, Any masters, associates (each kind gets me points)
Age: 32
Budget: $6k
Commitments: Child here in NS, have a full-time job but can take time off.
Dedicated Time to Study: 24/7
Existing credits: none
Thank you in advance!

The fastest possible RA degree would be WGU because of their self-paced courses and the fact that they confer degrees almost immediately upon completion of coursework. All of the other self-paced schools I know about will have delays in admittance, conferral, or both. Having said that, it may not be possible for you personally to complete a WGU degree that quickly. You would need to enroll by tomorrow, which is very unlikely. Even if you did get in and start on January 1, then you would need the ability to pass all the courses within two weeks, which is typically only possible for students with a large amount of experience. There is also time gating in some of the WGU master's degrees, which rules out such options as the MSML and the MBA, if I'm not mistaken.

MAOL would start by late March and finish in early May at the earliest, and with extreme luck, have a degree conferred in early May - approximately 5 months. Unfortunately, this person is asking for one month.

Ooh, so WGU confers the degree after completion now? I thought it was after the session ends and then it could take months.

Welcome to the board... Great intro post with some details on the addendum and template, but you've selectively left some information out. These various variables actually are important in making a decision on which degree and institution may work for you better. Basic information about where you're originally from and what that WES Bachelors degree major or subject was in. (I don't know what WEC is, I believe you're referring to WES)
Unfortunately, we're not an immigration board, and don't know the regulations or rules to other countries, immigration do not only focus on educational requirements for points. Having said that, I've had individuals follow through with my recommendations and they've completed extra educational points using these various methods to obtain a secondary citizenship or passport, I've created several threads on these topics previously...
