Wow! They've got a partnership with Coursera, it's only $5 per certificate. They have a bundle for this as well, $34 for 10 certificates... That's amazing, not as cheap as the freebies, but this is cheaper than getting a month subscription, it doesn't seem to have a time restriction as per their intro webpage!

Does this give you access to course materials, or to earning credit as well?

This is what the UPI badges look like at credly.

Those badges does look good, they even have NCCRS for them, hmm... I wonder if Credly now has an option for NCCRS credits to be stored on their system. If that is the case, we can get the NCCRS credits housed on Credly, so if something happens with the provider, it's still in Credly!

Maybe it is something new?
Lawshelf has Credly badges too!

I'm hoping more and more NCCRS providers do add their classes to Credly, it'll be more popular for their classes and also allow Credly to properly maintain records if ever they cease to exist...

As someone fond of certificates this is a big interest to me. Not to mention, looking at the curriculum, it seems way easier than Sophia and Study.com. Doing a million Sophia milestones really fatigues me. I don't mind proctored exams

Wouldn't recommend this for the certificates. I bought a $5 cert and all you get is a link to a small subset of courses from the "Coursera Partner Network" through Maritime College. None of the Google certs I was looking for are available. I emailed UPI about this and they said my purchase is non refundable.

No refunds also.
That's not good. Thanks for letting me know and also for taking this for the team... Ouch, that's the main reason I am not the guinea pig, and they're not that up front with what they offer for the certs, I would have actually thought exactly what I mentioned earlier in post #11... Just got off the phone with my bank. Had to cancel my credit card because UPI had enabled recurring billing on the $5 charge. My bank couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't be charged again.
