Hello all,
I wanted help on transcripts and classes. I have attached a google drive with all my transcripts, credit evaluation from UPMI.
I have 188 credit in total from Sophia, Google/Coursea, ASU Universal - CIS 194 Online, Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.
I applied and received my BOG Degree AAS in Information Systems from Pierpont Community & Technical College This June 2024. I was looking at UMPI for Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Project Management & Information Systems.
I was confused by the credit evaluation i received and why i had so may class? Looks like UMPI list 2 different degree paths.
The plan is to go into GovTech once i get enough IT experience under my belt. I'm changing career paths is the reason for the getting a degree to add to my other employment experience. I appreciate everyone taking the time to review my documents.

You have to complete a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI. While they accept pretty much all credits as transfer credits, that doesn't mean that they're usable and can be applied to your degree.
Why does this like look 2 different degree paths to you? Every degree has the GEC. You have to complete major and concentration requires for the degree you've selected. It's still only 120 credits.
Doesn't look like you completed sociology for 5A from Sophia or French or Spanish from Sophia. I don't see a foreign language.
I wouldn't panic too much until you hear from your academic success coach. They will manually go through your credits and apply them to your degree program. If you have questions, you can ask them once this is completed.

@lynnii2, I got your PM, when are you starting the session? I have deleted your link in your post as the files have personal info and it doesn't include the academic evaluation where you have yellow highlights of remaining classes. It's great you're providing details but without knowing the full picture of what's happening, it's really hard to say what you have to complete at UMPI. Get your academic coach or advisor to send you an updated academic evaluation and link us to that instead.

Hello,
Sorry if I attached my information incorrectly and the delay responding back. I have been out for a while I had to have surgery unfortunately and I'm just now jumping back into my education plan. This is what I was looking to complete for my bachelor degree path in the UMPI Yourpace program. I was looking at Bachelor of Liberal Studies, Minors in Management, Business Administration, and Project Management.
When I talked to Jessica at admission department she wasn't to sure about details of the additional minors and if I wanted to add another Associate degree while doing the Yourpace program. I'm still waiting on them to respond about that information in more detail.
She did tell me that I could do a bachelor of applied science instead, since I already have an Board of Governors A.A.S Information Systems from Pierpont Community.
I was trying to complete everything within 1 term. I plan to start next year January 2025 since I have 1 more surgery scheduled. Since this is my first time going to school at 43 yrs old to obtain a degree in college hacking I'm still a little lost and confused on the entire process with the adding minors, another associates degree, picking my own classes.
I did just complete 4 more classes at Sophia Learning (Spanish I, Business Communication, Introduction to Sociology, Financial Accounting) 12 additional credits. I was told by Jessica I need these classes in order to only need 10 classes to completed degree plan.
I appreciate all your help and time reviewing my documents.

Sweet, the BAS is much better than the BLS for those who don't know... It has slightly lesser requirements and much more flexibility on where you put your classes, otherwise, it's pretty much the same as a BLS. I would shoot for that degree instead... do exactly what Jessica says to bring down your classes to 10. That's it, you've got the rest of the year to get the max transfer... If you can, have Jessica or your assigned academic coach to provide you an updated evaluation with the yellow highlights indicating the remaining classes. You can link us when you get that after you complete these remaining Sophia.org transfers.

Pretty straightforward, you need to do at least 10 classes with UMPI. You can decide which 10 remaining classes those are, you can transfer more classes in to meet requirements. If I was in your shoes, I would do more Sophia.org and Study.com, plus use the 10 classes for classes that can't be transferred in, and/or do the 4 classes that go towards the MAOL. So, 6 classes for BA, 4 classes for MAOL (even though 3 can be transferred into the MAOL).
