I have poked around the forum as well as online and was looking at Sophia courses to segway to UMPI. I'm hoping to find some guidance as far as what credits I already have and what classes I would need to complete through Sophia to qualify to move into a degree program in Accounting with UMPI. Or if there is a better option than Sophia/UMPI, I am all ears! Thanks for any help from the community!

UMPI is a good option. Here are a couple of links to get started:
General education requirements: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...ts_Roadmap
Degree Plans: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI
BA accounting plan: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan
BBA accounting plan: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan
I would also suggest checking out TESU since you are in New Jersey. You can bring in up to 114 credits into a degree plan (105 if you want to do the flat-rate tuition term and avoid the residency waiver fee), with up to 90 credits from ACE (e.g. Sophia, Study.com) or NCCRS sources. Being in Jersey, you get a discount on the flat-rate at $3319 and you have almost all of the RA credits that you need. TESU also has good options for freebie add-ons for associates and certificates that you may be interested in:

@Thelifenfc, Welcome to the board, it really depends if you're looking at accounting or finance, or a mix of both... Are you thinking of doing the CPA afterwards? My suggestion is to do the TESU BSBA Finance or WGU BSBA Finance. You're basically wanting to max transfer everything, including if you decide to do the UMPI BABA Accounting or BA Accounting... BTW, What does the NFC stand for? Near-field communication is the first thing that came to my mind...

Thank you for your response! I believe that based on what I am looking to accomplish I think TESU Finance is the route I want to go. What is the easiest way to determine what courses I should take to complete the 30 RA required? For example, I see that atleast 6 RA credits are required to be taken directly through TESU. If I were to just take those, that would put me at 33 credits, but I know I do not have any math credits. With there being 2 required math courses, that means at minimum I must take the 2 math courses and the 2 courses directly from TESU (cornerstone and capstone). By default this will put me over the 30 RA required. How can I determine what else I MUST take?
Im sorry if this is stupid question or if I am not asking it properly. Just trying to figure out what courses I need ASAP so I can dive right in.
Thank you again for the help!

I think based on yours and @jg_nuy replies, TESU BSBA finance aligns best with what I am looking to accomplish. I am not sure about doing the CPA afterward but it is something I can considered. I did have some questions on determining what courses I need to complete my required RA credits from TESU. If its not too much to ask, would you mind taking a look at my above response ^ and sharing whatever guidance you can? I really appreciate all the help.
Side note, the NFC come from John Hamm's character in the movie "The Town" when he refers to the crew as the "Not (insert expletive with F)'ing Around Crew"

The 2 classes from TESU (Cornerstone/Business Capstone) would put you at 30 RA credits, since you already have 24 RA credits.
The math classes can be through alternative credit. You can follow the plan in the degree plans for the 90 remaining credits needed:
General Education Requirements: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Th...University
TESU Business Core: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...re_Roadmap
TESU finance: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan
If you do just the 2 classes and bring in 90 credits via alt-credit, you would pay for each class at the in-state tuition (6 credits x $419) so around $2514, plus $3354 for the residency waiver, plus the graduation fees and the cost for your alt-credit subscriptions (e.g. Sophia + Study dot com).
If you choose to do 5 classes in a flat-rate tuition term (12 weeks), you would pay $3319 instead, plus the graduation fees and the cost for your alt-credit subscriptions (e.g. Sophia + Study dot com).
You can also add on certificates and associates for free fairly easily:
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...gree_Plans
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...cate_Plans
Here is a quick guide to which might provide some easy and interesting courses to add to the cornerstone and Business capstone in a 15-credit term for the flat-rate:
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Th...timization
Your tuition reimbursement can cover the full cost with some leftover, from my quick math (3319 + ~300). You would need to check whether it would cover costs of Sophia and/or Study dot com.

Thank you for this response! It clicked for me the second time around.
I have one last question; Is this something that can be done simultaneously (Flat rate tuition term + alt credits) or is it suggested/required that I do one before the other.
Thanks again!

I suggest doing your alt credit first and then tackling the 15 credit semester.

I suggest making a Google spreadsheet to plan out the courses you need to take for your degree.
Take courses with Sophia and knock out all you can. Then do Study.com, etc, afterward.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

That's correct, generally, you want to work on one provider at a time so you don't have two subscriptions going on... Such as Sophia.org first, Study.com next, then finish at TESU for residency credits.
