Essentially, your current credits can be used for the 60 credits in the electives, make sure to take the Sophia.org classes to fulfill your general education, and then complete the UMPI residency credits.
Hello, What are the "3-4 classes that can exempt you for up to 3 classes towards the UMPI MAOL" that should added to my degree plan? Thank you in advance for your time.

I noticed your PM to me that you also PM Rachel83AZ, I skimmed through the document, I usually get people to link us to their one/google drive as my Mac Mini or Windows laptop downloads files and I don't have MS Office installed. So I have to always download and then open it in Google or Microsoft Office online version... I would complete all the required classes for transfer and apply to UMPI for their BLS as it will take 'more' of your credits, you can always change that later to the BABA.

Hello Everyone,
I am currently in the process of trying to finalize my degree plan, and I would greatly appreciate your expertise in reviewing my plan and spreadsheet.
A few additional pieces of information:
- I want to pursue a UMPI BLS with Minors.
- I am considering applying for a Pierpont AAS,
- Hoping for feedback form forum members
- Is this needed or worth the time, energy and cost
- I have not applied to UMPI yet, I was planning to applied after I completed my last Study.com course
- I have attached a spreadsheet for review (You should be to open the attachment with Google Sheets or Excel)
Any advice on potential adjustments or additional course recommendations would be immensely helpful.
Thank you so much for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you and benefiting from the wisdom of this wonderful community.

Hmm...Your attachment or link to your spreadsheet mentioned is missing, I'm merging this to the previous thread, so we get the full picture. It seems you're using this as a check the box degree and also prepare for a possible upward mobility ladder (such as getting a quick Masters like the UMPI MAOL). I suggest this path - Pierpont BOG > UMPI BAS > UMPI MAOL
Pierpont BOG AAS is worth the extra $130+cost of transcripts from Oakland, that's really cheap for an Associates that can get you into the BAS vs the BLS at UMPI. You can quickly apply to both Pierpont and UMPI and send the transcripts in while you complete the remaining credits needed for UMPI BLS (you can change to BAS after conferral of Pierpont BOG AAS).
Heck, if you wanted an additional cheapies/freebies, you can get the Coursera, TEEX, classes that grant ACE credit and also complete a Cert. You can add an addition UMPI AALS into your degree plan as a secondary program and 'forget it' as all the credits you take for the BAS/BLS will go towards that degree. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Fr..._of_Credit

I'm seeking help and a second set of eyes to ensure I have everything.
I’ve decided to apply to the UMPI Yourpace program for a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration. I aim to start in the Fall of 2024, and the application deadline is July 15, 2024. I've heard that the UMPI application process can be slow.
A few questions:
- Did I miss any classes I need to complete before applying to UMPI? (My goal is to transfer and receive 90 transfer credits.)
- Can I apply now and transfer the Coursera Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Professional Certificate afterward? (I may not be able to complete this course before I apply)
- Do you recommend applying as soon as possible?
I have attached a PDF copy of my degree plan spreadsheet for review.

Looks pretty good, you want to cross reference the info on the WIKI here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI
Otherwise, the only thing that's confusing is... the 40 credits GEC, you've got a bit of redundancy, but it doesn't matter, you're picturing that.
One thing is, your OCC accounting class doesn't take two spots... you'll have to complete the 'other' one as well...

Thank you for catching the errors in my plan. I have attached an updated PDF. (Please let me know if the updated plan looks better with fewer redundancies.)
UMPI Degree Plan Worksheet BABA Marketing 06042024.pdf (Size: 98.64 KB / Downloads: 2)
Sophia: Financial Accounting (completed on June3, 2024).
I have 46 GEC Credits to transfer in with a few redundancies. (I think this meets the 40 GEC Credit Requirement)
Just a few additional questions:
1.) Will OCC MAT 1010 Business Mathematics count for both the GEC 3B & BUS ADM Major MAT 140 requirements? (If not, I will take Sophia College Intro to College Mathematics or College Algebra.)
2.) Will Sophia Business Communication count for GEC 1C and BUS ADM Major COM 210 requirements? (If not, do you have a recommendation on another Sophia class to meet the GEC 1C requirement?)
Thank you again for your time.
