Hello:
Another couple of additional questions from my son (18) about TESU.
- He is signed up for 3 TECEPS - these will count as RA credits once he passes them?
- He is wrapping up his XAMK courses, which will come in somewhere between 30-40 US credits. These credits are RA and mostly free electives. Will these RA supersede ACE credits that are currently slotted as free electives? He wants to make sure he is meeting the 30 RA credit requirement without issue.

TECEPs are RA credits but NOT residency credits.
RA credits will always override ACE credits at TESU. If they do not, then you can request for them to be moved.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)

1. Yes
2. Yes - TESU prioritizes credits when they do an eval. RA always supercedes ACE/NCCRS. And they fill slots based on AoS required courses (1st), then Aos Electives (2nd), then GE required courses (3rd), then GE elective courses (4th), then Free Electives (last). And of course, if they do something you don't like, you can request that credits be moved (for instance if you take Sociology, and they place it in the AoS, you can ask that it be moved to meet the Diversity requirement).

Enrolled for the SOS-1100 class on EdX - At the time being, this course should transfer into TESU for only two programs. Which program is your son going for? BA Comp Science? If so, great! That's one of them, the other program is the Associates of Applied Science in Applied Computer Studies, you can use the EDX course for it as well. Just curious, are you planning the 15 credit TECEPs? You should as those are FREE right now... Last but not least, are you deciding to pay the residency waiver fee or pay the flat rate 15 credits for residency purposes?

He is currently enrolled in the BA CS but he also wants to do the BSBA CIS. Looks he might be better off doing the SOS-1100 course at TESU rather than EdX if it’s so limited.
Not sure yet on the flat rate tuition vs the residency waiver fee. He has time & we are covering the bachelors expense since TESU is very reasonable for his learning style.
Next step after the BA is likely the MAOL at UMPI or possibly the Georgia Tech program though that may change.

So, are you looking to enroll in the EDX version of the cornerstone or are you taking the cornerstone as part of the flat rate tuition plan? It really depends on what you want to do (or he wants). You can always take the PLA-1010 in the flat tuition rate, this one course can possible yield 15 credits. So it's like taking 1 course that is 3 credits and getting PLA for 4 courses of 12 credits. You can also continue to take E-packs or courses to max the 15 credits... In total, that term can yield 27 credits!

The EdX Computer Literacy only applies to Computer Science degrees from what I’ve read here (would love to know if otherwise!), so my son will be doing the SOS & the 2 required capstones via TESU. He will likely end up doing a flat-rate term with two more classes, but hasn’t decided yet. He’s still working through Sophia and later SDC.

Quick update from the kiddo-
BS CIS - Around 10 classes to go (3 overlap with BA CS AOS, plus info literacy and capstone).
BA CS - Around 12 classes to go (3 overlap with BS CIS AOS, plus info literacy and capstone).
Added some certs (Org Leadership, Ops Management).
Added the AS Business Administration and AS Math + Communications (not sure whether to keep the Comm, as it requires 3 extra classes).
