Greetings,
Currently doing my Liberal Arts Capstone and I'm getting up to the Oral presentation portion. Anyone that completed it. Did you stay in the 8-10 minute timeframe? I have timed myself and I am currently in the 12-15 minutes. I feel like if I cut more out that I will not meet the objective.
Also when you had to submit it at the end. Did you have to submit the powerpoint presentation or just the recording?
Thanks!

You do have to submit the recording. It's been a while, but there's a way you submit that you get both the powerpoint and the camera of your recording of the presentation.
Check the rubric for the grading. And ask your professor. Some are very strict on time, others are more lenient.
Another tip: Write out what you are going to say, figure out where you can trim down, and then practice speaking a bit more quickly. If I am remembering correctly, my presentation ran a little bit over, but that was after I had cut it extensively in editing down the written-out presentation.

I did this in March 2024, it was easy. Just read a script into Kaltura recording the screen. The only thing I forgot was a reference page. Just follow the instructions, this is easy, it is not a thesis defense.
