Really?  You have to ask?

Get a CS degree. Make lots of money. Pay off your debts. All other degrees and careers are worthless.

You're right but I got an IT degree instead. CS degree was too expensive for me lol...

Ah, so your "impressive" brick & mortar $150k degree turns out to have less value than an online degree that cost $10k? Shocked Pikachu face.

IT degrees can pay well, they just don't do so right out of the gate, necessarily. It takes some time, and you have to either be really good, or you need to be able and willing to manage people. If you want to add on education or certifications, I'd go Cybersecurity.

I'm going to say that generally, the best paying gig in your industry will be sales. If you can get yourself into IT Sales, your chances of making good money is a lot better than just doing general IT work. If you're really good at it, you can make a TON. Also good - Sales Engineer. The technical part of sales, so a higher base salary and then lower commission. Still great paying though.

Plenty of people with IT degrees have six figure jobs. Finding one takes time and experience. Did you complete an internship? How's your LinkedIn? Networking? Many jobs in IT are found by networking.
