I took ASU's HST-102 Europe and the Mediterranean: Ancient and Medieval back when it was offered for $99. I recently took, and transferred in, OnlineDegree's History-Turning Points in Modern History 15th Century to Present for the heck of it. I was expecting it to come in as an AOS elective, at best. However, I just checked and the two of these together have met the History degree's Western/World Civilization requirement! Even though the ASU course is Western Civ. and OnlineDegree is World History. I was going to take Western Civ. II at SDC, but now it appears that I don't have to do that.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Thank you for sharing! My daughter has OnlineDegree's
History-Turning Points in Modern History 15th Century to Present on her evaluation as world history, too. I was thinking she would have to take a World History 1 to go with it. But it looks like she can take ONU Western Civ and it will complete that section and add another RA class. Thanks!

I would get that one preplanned. I think ONU's is an odd duck and covers all of civilized history? If so, TESU might not count it as Civ I.

I will definitely get it preplanned. The online degree course came in as HIS-122 Intro to World History II so I would hope that the ONU class would count as Western Civ I. But I will check!
