But literally no one here is or would make the claim that TESU is "world renowned."

Congrats on CUNY's 10 campus entities collectively cracking the top 800 though, I guess?

It's actually one specific campus - The City University of New York campus. That's the research school. It's not all 10 campuses or the CUNY system.

Honestly if I didn't live in New York State I'd have no idea. Where I live no one cares. They'd probably not be impressed - quite the opposite actually - because the rest of the state hates NYC and would love let the island float out to sea.

All I can say is that MDela3 was a weird one, and it took too long to ban him/her.  I think I've seen a thread or two been shut down to comments when regulars disagree, and they didn't come anywhere close to this kook.

Oh, and if I never hear about CUNY again it will be too soon.

Well, checking those QS Word University ratings it´s interesting, I just discovered that the university where I got my master in corporate science is ranked higher than:

Stony Brook University, State University of New York
University at Buffalo SUNY
University of Utah
University of Kansas

However,... it's not like I've seen much improvement, though, compared to my situation without that degree
