Also, does any one know what Sophia's Principles of management is equivalent to at UMPI? I don't seem to be able to locate the course on their list.
Principles of Management from Sophia transfers a 100 level Business elective.
Nothing from Sophia transfers as UL to UMPI. There are some who may have transferred Principles of Finance in for Financial Management which is UL at UMPI. When I applied last year, Principles of Finance was a LL Business elective. There seems to be some exceptions to this rule. Principles of finance now transfers in as Financial management, according to the list. And Business law transfers in as 350 - Business law 1. Maybe it is a bit premature to designate Principles of management as a LL business filler course, before anyone has actually made an attempt to transfer the course.

Yes, Principles of Management has transferred to UMPI as BUS1XX. I have checked the transfer database and that's how it transferred. Changes are made often. UMPI Reevaluated Sophia's courses recently and made a few changes.

There is now no point in wasting time doing a generic business course if it transfers in as LL BUS1XX.

Communication 120 Presentation Skills in Workplace still comes in as PCJ 215 Business Communication but you have to contact the registrar's office to explain the agreement between Study.com and UMPI. I did it and the staff told me that they need to update their records. It might change in the future but I highly recommend taking Communication 120 on Study.com if you need it. It's super easy especially if you've taken speech or public speaking before.
You are right. They have fixed it now.
It shows (PCJ 215: Business Communication) at this moment: https://imgur.com/NS77I6K
I have attached the updated equivalencies.
Does this mean that SDC's Communication 120 also satisfies UMPI's GEC, 1C? PCJ 215 Business Communication satisfies 1C, so would no longer have to take Communication at Work from Sophia.
Current: UMPI YourPace competency-based BABA, Management & Leadership Concentration, Project Management and Management of Information Systems Minors. Starting with 15 RA credits previously earned in community college. Took the CSM Learn course. Now going through Sophia courses.
Goal: Walden TEMPO competency-based MBA.
Timeline: Started planning mid 2021. Finish both, Jan 2023. A year and a half total, including planning. Started planning on TESU, but was advised towards UMPI to take advantage of financial aid. I'm now excited to finish completely competency-based.
Fun fact: I sometimes use TV as a productivity tool. One episode per chapter, load of dishes, or basket of laundry!
Thanks to everyone, and happy studying!

Do Essentials of Managing Conflict and Developing Effective Teams transfer as 1 credit to UMPI or 3? They're both one credit on Sophia.

1 credit. If you earn 1 credit for a course anywhere, it will always only be 1 credit. It won't increase in credit. However, if you take a course that's 4 credits at x school and transfer it to y school, you may only receive 3 credits for it because that's all it's worth at that school.

For some reason Sophia has Principles of Finance on my transcript twice so I got six credits out of it in the transfer

I still think that was a mistake and no one caught it. That is totally not normal!

@ashkir Does Sophia - Comm at work transfer as PCJ-215?
It was listed on the UMPI BLS degree plan that way and I couldn't find the filled requirement on your plan (we figured it was filled by Comm at Work)
