Being locked into a catalog just ensures that the degree requirements won't change - it does not guarantee that courses you want to take will be accepted forever, nor does it guarantee that prices won't go up.
This is true for all schools, btw. They change policies all the time. But being enrolled and locking in the degree is the best you can do.

Its the only post I made where I contributed back to the community so I'm a little disappointed.
Honestly, this is a public knowledge forum not a social media platform. The like button is there, but it is not commonly used for much of anything or often (most often used when someone posts an "I'm done!"); certainly not standard etiquette. If forum members here only contributed because they thought they'd get 'liked' we'd never see anything of value posted. Please don't take the lack of direct recognition to equate that your contribution wasn't appreciated; it most certainly is. Most of the people you have helped with this news don't post (at all) or aren't even registered users (can't 'like). Sharing knowledge here is about helping others, as you have been helped (and some do go above and beyond).

Agreed. As of the stats on the homepage, 109/123 of the current visitors on this website are guests. The vast majority of people here don't have an account. Those people won't reply or like, but they are your main audience.
My use of the like button is to avoid clogging up threads with useless "thanks" replies. I try to recognize helpful info and meaningful effort when I can. However, likes are just worthless internet points. You can't cash them out for anything.

Wait, they can submit courses that are completed by December 31. So, that should mean, get it done by December 31, and send in your transcripts ASAP.

LOL, reminded me of yesterday, I nearly slipped in the shower... I had to laugh it off, kind of scary actually, my farce...
Oh and I received an update email from TESU. So, it does seem only "selective" courses may not be accepted...
TESU does still accept Study.com courses provided they're first approved for your degree program and taken within their ACE recommendation for credit. You can use the ACE website https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...fault.aspx to determine credit date ranges and should forward your course selections to us for review and approval before registering.
To seek approval, simply list your selections in a new email to academicadvising@tesu.edu.

According to him, the review that was in progress (mentioned in my earlier post) just ended today, and here is the list of courses that are changing. Remember, this is a routine review. They do this for all partners. So this is a risk we all have to take until we've got it locked in.
"The study.com course review just ended and we will no longer accept these courses listed below as of 1/1. Students can submit transcripts for completed courses through 12/31."
Math 108: Discrete Mathematics
Computer Science 105: Introduction to Operating Systems
Computer Science 111: Programming in C
Computer Science 112: Programming in C++
Computer Science 115: Programming in Java
Computer Science 305: Operating Systems
Computer Science 306: Computer Architecture
So they only changed Computer Science courses.
Operating systems would be the easiest, I would do that in like 1-2 days ASAP. Discrete Math you can do in 20-40 hrs, not easy but possible. Computer Arch well if you can score 90% on the final exam, then just turn in anything on the assignment and you should pass.
Well now to complete CS at TESU you would have to do Flat Rate tuition for $4600 or do them over multiple terms for $8500 for the following courses:
Capstone
Cornerstone
Discrete Mathematics
Computer Architecture
Operating Systems
And also pass TECEP Networking.
That would be one hell of a course load. I guess you could get the books ahead of time and prestudy.
Better just to do WGU I would think than mess with all that. Or do a Purdue IT degree.
If I was in this predicament, I would work on the Operating Systems first, Discrete Math second, you don't need the programming as you can substitute them with the other programming courses offered at Study.com such as R and Python.
16 Credits: Complete the following courses in a term if possible, or two if you have financial aid to use up.
Cornerstone, Capstone, Computer Architecture, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, PLA-100
