This thread is intended to list lesser-known, competency-based master's, specialist, post-graduate certificate, and graduate certificate programs.
This one is my favorite find so far. Central Washington University offers a Master of Science in administrative management and various IT concentrations. They also have graduate certificates in IT. The MS programs are designed to be completed in one year.
FlexIT Pro Performance-Based Graduate Programs | Central Washington University (cwu.edu)
Clear Creek Baptist Bible College doesn't make it clear which programs can be completed online. I saw a page that said you can complete courses through Sakai if you can't come to campus. They offer an MA in Ministry.
Master of Arts in Ministry | Clear Creek Baptist Bible College (ccbbc.edu)
Merrimack College offers six master's degrees and two certificates of advanced graduate studies (CAGS) in education. Plus, they have three add-on license programs for Massachusetts.
Master's in Education | Online Graduate Teacher Education Programs (merrimack.edu)
Grace Theological Seminary has an MDiv and MA in Local Church Ministry.
Deploy | Competency Based Online Seminary | Grace Seminary
University of Michigan Medical School offers a Master of Health Professions Education. They call it a blended program, but meetings with faculty can be done by video or phone call, and experiential work is done in your workplace. No campus visits are required, so it's a 100% distance education program.
Master of Health Professions Education | Learning Health Sciences | Michigan Medicine | University of Michigan (umich.edu)
Southern New Hampshire University has an MEd and CAGS in Learning and Leading in a Competency-Based System. I guess it would be hypocritical of them to not offer these programs in a competency-based format.
MEd in Learning and Leading | SNHU
University of Arizona Global Campus - MS in Instructional Design and Technology
Instructional Design and Technology MS | UAGC | University of Arizona Global Campus
