Not bad. Is it for 9 courses and. No residency?

Does it matter if one passes courses or not?

Hey - It's not what you're thinking.  The flat rate tuition is for individuals wanting to do more credits/courses at the price of 9 credits.  If you reach a certain number of credits in that one term, the residency fee can be waived.  And you have to pass the classes otherwise you don't get the credits to waive the residency fee.  Here's a post I made a couple of days ago: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid325487

Hey guys. My friend is wrapping up his last couple of courses of a BA at TESU. He transferred in SDC courses & registered/payed for the info lit & capstone courses a few days before 07/01/20. His courses started in November 2020 & he'll be finishing 01/21. He was given the study.com discounted tuition of $379/ credit but he's been informed a couple of times now that he's being billed the regular residency waiver fee ($3,192) not the discounted study.com waiver fee ($2,800). Does this sound right? We both thought he would be billed $2,800...

That's correct, he would have been billed $2800 if he graduated in 2018, since 2019 it's been $3,192 - I am hoping they don't raise the price later on this year!

Hey BJ. Thanks for replying! But I think you might've misread my post? He's actually finishing his degree this month.

I'm not sure how long along, but they did away with the discount on waiver fee even before the tuition discount was discontinued.  So, it's correct that he'd be billed the regular residency waiver fee based on when he asks for it. not based on other dates.
