I see English 101 and 102 is no longer accepted as alternative. Are Sophia and Straighterline still options? Which would be best?
TESU: ENC 101 & 102, credit options...

I did Sophia during the free trial, they aren't that bad. Definitely more time consuming than a regular Sophia course though. I think Straighterline has more writing assignments than Sophia.

Sophia is pretty darn good. And at $79/mo. for all the courses you can take it's an inexpensive way to get your general education credits.

This seems like the way to go. Just wanted to make sure the classes on Sophia will transfer. I'll probably just do as many as I can here... makes financial sense.

Should I just go ahead and apply for TESU now, eventhough getting most courses through sophia/S.c?

Most sophia courses will transfer. The foundations courses will not. College readiness will not. Principles of finance and Business law are too new to know what they come in as but they will almost certainly transfer. Everything else transfers in just fine.

You should apply if you have chosen TESU so you can lock in a catalog and get unlimited evaluations as you complete alternate credits. You may as well also complete SOS-110 so it is out of the way. Sophia is excellent so do everything you can there then consider Study.com for the rest. See post #25 in this thread for what transfers https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...lem?page=3 |
