Seems to me there are big changes come July.

It was Introduction to Religion REL-100.

Yup!  It definitely USED to be accepted

" Yes, we do currently accept Sophia credits. However, please note that TESU recently ended a partnership with Sophia Learning. We are still accepting their credits, but I'd recommend taking this College Algebra course sooner rather than later (if possible) so as to get that transferred before any changes are made. I have added it as a "planned" course on your academic evaluation."

Well crap.

All the planning I've done for degrees at TESU will now be routed to COSC.

I really liked the idea of Excelsior but we have no course transfer confirmations so, IMHO, there is now only 1 of the Big 3 remaining.

Yes it's made for the generic account only, this FREE set of courses are only for non affiliated schools, you have to be on the Generic Sophia logon.  If you are affiliated with say TESU or Excelsior or COSC, whatever school, just use the online chat or email and ask them to change you back to the Generic account instead of a specific school account.  Note: It doesn't matter what school you are using now, you can change it back if need be.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet or not but:

BTW, it looks like the courses are free for some/all of the university affiliated Sophia pages now as well(I only verified a handful so far.)

Please take this with a grain of salt because my experience is not typical. i have a decent understanding of econ already, even though I didn't have college credit for it prior, and i wasn't taking this course to learn or absorb new material. I took it mainly to see how the Sophia experience was. If I was learning from scratch and actually needed it to apply to a degree program I think it'd take longer and I'd pay more attention to the vids. As I don't need it for a degree program, I didn't care if I passed or failed, so I didn't take it too seriously.

That being said, it took me about 6 days speeding through quizzes and exams and not paying much attention to the lessons content, only referring back to the tutorial when I got stuck. I spent 45mins to an hour a day. I scored an 86% overall.

I thought the Sophia experience was fantastic and engaging. I would 100% recommend them. They're normally definitely on the pricey side, so if cost is your main concern it could be an issue, but of course at least until 7/31 that's not an issue thanks to them being so generous.

That's good to know, thank you JSD.

Question...my daughter is the opposite, she loves to read every word and take notes to digest all of the info that she can, which is great, but I am worried she won't get many courses finished by July 31st. I know that you can push start dates back after you register for a course, but do you know if once July 31st comes around, if even the ones you already registered for will then no longer be free?
