My apologies; I know I've asked this before, but I can't remember the answer and can't find the thread.
If a school is not accredited when you begin your program, but it gains accreditation before you complete your degree, is the degree accredited? (That is, which matters, accreditation status at enrollment/catalog lock-in, or at graduation?)
And...NOW I can see the thread because it shows up as a related thread. Not sure why that's the case, when it didn't show up in search. So never mind. It's here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...n-Question

I believe I read that WQU was in the process of seeking accreditation. I'm looking into their 8 week data analysis certificate.

I am. Last I checked, it was in the process of seeking accreditation. I can't remember offhand where I found that -- I'd have to dig it up again -- but I think their deadline is 2020.

Their FAQ says they are seeking accreditation "recognized by the DOE" as required by their state licensure. That's likely NA but if they keep it 100% free that's certainly not a bad deal. The FAQ didn't provide a timeframe.
