You have to apply early, but you can still be finishing classes and waiting on transcripts.

Nope that's an often repeated misconception. For Dec graduation, you have to apply for graduation by Oct 1, but you can bring credits in well into November. In fact, you can even start your capstone as late as the August term, which will end in late October with grades in early November. If you for some reason fail to get enough credits, they will simply roll you over to the next graduation date.

I selected my capstone to start in May, the registrars office said if i complete it i can graduate in September and to apply July 1st. I have not seen anything to the contrary on finishing classes and transferring in credits yet.

Your May capstone won't end until July 22 (grades maybe not until Aug)...AFTER the application deadline of July 1 for Sept. graduation. So you're a living, breathing example. Also there are tons of threads around with people getting their last credits in late.

Pardon the bump, but where exactly WebAdvisor do I pay the residency waiver?
I just submitted the graduation application and paid the graduation fee but I didn't see an option for the waiver

I believe you have to get them to add it manually.

Thanks! I just emailed them. Hoping it's as quick and painless as paying their other stuff

It's painless... if you pay the whole thing with 1 bank account or card.

Appreciate this info, as I'm aiming for a December graduation, and need to make sure to sign up and pay for the Capstone before 6/30/18 to lock in the SDC discounted rate, and also to actually set up the course to take no later than the August term to help ensure that I get everything in and done on time.

So, for the September graduation I am shooting for, I could be finishing up some courses at the end of June when I apply? Have people actually had their credits transfer that close to the graduation date?
