I think the AA and BA can use the same residency waiver, it's when you're doing 2 BA's that they won't let you. But I would just contact them and check.

TESU is not very clear on their policy, but it seems to be only allowed if you graduate with both at the same time. So if someone graduates with the Assoc degree first, then would have to pay again.
As Ideas stated you can use the waiver for both if you graduate with them at the same time. This was repeated to me many times by my TESU advisor just within the last few weeks (almost in a 'warning' style). They made it very clear that I must apply for graduation for both the Associates and Bachelors at the same time to avoid having to pay a separate wavier fee for each.

We've heard a couple of answers on that one. One is that you have to do both at the same time, but we've also heard that you can do the BS after the AA on one residency waiver as long as you do it all within a year of paying the waiver. I don't recall hearing anything that sounded definitive, though. I would definitely ask, and get the answer in an email that you can point to.

That sounds more like the rule for the Graduation Fee than the Residency Waiver.
I have never heard that you have to pay a new RW if you get an AA and then a BA within a year. As Davewill said, we've heard lots of stuff from TESU advisors (much of it wrong), but I would advise anyone thinking about it to ask someone other than advising for a more definitive answer on this. You need to talk to the Bursar.

I would get it in writing too - from as many places as possible (advising / bursar etc). I didn't ask about the AA because I already had one, but what I received in writing said ANY two degrees (regardless of it being an AA, BA etc) had to be applied for and conferred at the same time. Others have graduated at separate times though and not had to pay again. It's kind of typical TESU - different answers, different day. I have emails on other topics where they contradicted themselves. Case in point, I was told with a second BA I had to take the capstone again. A couple months later they said I didn't. Both times I was asking about the same degree. I very if I emailed again I would get another answer. Lol.

After I added the AA on to my BA plan, I was able to use the same residency waiver fee as long as I applied for graduation for the AA immediately after I applied for the BA.
