I was able to get 1 UL class through Shmoop, but now I need to get 4 more for the BALS at TESU - and I'm DONE with Shmoop - no more!
Sucks that Straighterline and some Study.com classes have been downgraded.
Anybody got other places where you can get UL credits?
Can you name off even expensive options?

Davar has some. All or most are business.
DSST Money and Banking is considered hard, but there's that. DSST Cybersecurity.
SecularCourses has a poetry class and maybe more.
Saylor is $25 and has at least a couple, although I don't think they're easy. Business/CIS.
I think there's at least one at Ed4Credit. Probably some at Penn Foster.
There are others too. These are only the ones I remember.
Why not get 1-2 Study.com while you can?

I think Study.com is more painful than Shmoop for most subjects. But I love Study.com and Shmoop.
Shmoop is the most painful for Lit

For more expensive options, but still cheaper than TESU, check CSU-Global CBE, BYU-IS, Fort Hayes State and AMU/APU. That's where we look when someone needs something unique that's not available elsewhere. You can also check various university extensions, but you have to verify that the courses actually earn college credit.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

If you register for Harvard Extension's summer poetry course (English), it will cost you $200 + $50 fee = $250 all in. You'll have to register for graduate credit, but TESU will bring in graduate credit as upper level. Fall is showing 2 more - that is one heck of a deal for 12 humanities/English UL credits. ($750)
PS a dozen times this has been asked and I have personally only confirmed it with TESU twice, but it is worth an email to TESU to confirm that graduate credit still transfers back into an undergrad degree as UL - not so much because of the money as much as the effort/time that will be required.
Summer course:

(fall registration doesn't open for a couple more months)

I'm slightly confused. I am also working on the BALS at TESU. My 2 UL business courses were put in free electives. They said because I'm not a business major I can't use those for my UL credits. Do I need to appeal? Have others gotten the business courses to count for the UL credits?
Thanks in advance. You all are a wonderful source of information.

Business courses have never (as far back as I can recall) counted in the BALS AOS at TESU. They have to be Social Science, Humanities, or Math/Science/CompSci courses.
There are a couple of "business" classes that will count, because they are not truly only business courses:
Business Comm comes in as both a business course, and a Comm course (and so does Marketing Comm)
Organizational Behavior comes in as both a business course, and a Psych course
