I'm looking forward to your reply and see what answers they have to dfrecore and my questions, I am totally hyped about their program as they will be the cheapest/easiest/fastest ACBSP program out there. Even if I finish in 4 terms for $6+ thousand or so as dfrecore mentioned, it will be totally worth it as that's how much my BSBA cost.
I searched the ACBSP programs a few months ago and none of them came close to that price, an example: APUS/AMU MBA is $350/credit and 30-39 credits - $10,500 to $13,650 or another one from SNHU - $1881/course, or ~$18,810 for an ACBSP accredited degree.
The reason I am looking for ACBSP is because TESU is ACBSP, I would like to continue on with a similarly accredited Masters program especially if I intend to work in specific fields or the government agencies, academic training or teaching and so on, as some HR generalists look at everything and that may stand out if I go into an interview.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread, so excuse me if my answer is off. Walden and Capella are ACBSP-accredited, and they offer competency-based MBA programs.

Hi all, here is what I wrote:
"I'm interested in the ExcelTrackTM Master of Business Administration but it seems quite unusual to other MBAs with 60 quarter credits.
Also the term is not clear , it looks like it is a 10 week term which is about 2 months. Is this correct? Looking at the fee structure it seems to indicate that they are not 10-week terms but 6 week terms. Can you please clarify this for me?
I'm interested in looking at a preview of the assessments. I would like to take a look at how the program works. I appreciate your time helping me with my questions. Thank you."
Below is the response of course not answering my last question.
"Please make sure you compare the classes and not the credits. Kaplan does not use semester hours because the terms are 6 weeks. The terms are quarter terms and thus seems to be more credits. Our program is 40 semester hours approximately. Additionally our program allows to test out of 2 classes that could mean the MBA is 34.66 semester hours.
The Excel MBA does not offer any concentration is only 60 quarter credits. "
I will call today to speak with someone...

tck2008, when you call Kaplan, please see how the assessments for their MBA ExcelTrack work. If it is remotely close to how ALEKS is done (non-proctored or just exams, assignments), then it'll be easier. I did a bit of digging and found out a PDF that mentioned it should be either assignments, exams, or essays. Purdue link: https://www.purduenewu.org/documents/ass...170815.pdf
Furthermore, I made a mistake earlier in comparing pricing with APUS/AMU and SNHU, those are traditional MBA's and not competency-based, the ones I looked at from Capella/Walden a few months back were for their PHD/Doctorate degree programs. The pricing is very similar at Capella/Walden, but Kaplan or the NewU is going from profit to non-profit model and will carry the Purdue name. It sounds like it's 6 week quarters...which is kind of sucky as any other quarter I've ever heard of was at least 9 or 10 weeks.

If you look at the ones I've looked at, they are all anywhere from 12 weeks to 6 months:
Capella 12 weeks
APU/AMU 16 weeks
Patten 4 months
U of Wisconsin 16 weeks
WGU 6 months
Hodges 6 months
So a 6-week quarter is crazy short. All it takes is for you to get off track by a week, and you're screwed. There is just no forgiveness in that schedule. I think it's a way for them to make more money off of you, as they know how long it takes people to get through things, and 6 weeks isn't it.
