This program has concentrations in application development, networking and systems management, web development, and core programming. I don't see a special tuition rate for the competency-based program. Their online tuition rate is $375 per credit hour for the first 12 hours and $100 per credit hour for every credit thereafter.

pass/file
proctored exams/ some are/ some not
250 per \course. credit/noncredit- credit if you apply for admission and go that route (they kept stressing non-credit)
no financial aid.
IT Certificates can be used for credit.
Lady on the phone said they do not accept Study.com, but they do accept Sl http://www.straighterline.com/colleges/n...uivalency/
They don't seem ready for the degreeforum crowd.
Might be useful for some. Especially depending on how many credits they are willing to accept combined with clep, dsst, and SL
got bored of studying so I decided to call them. They do not have any cbe Masters programs
TESU BSBA (Dual Degree)
Computer Information Systems
General Management
Completed June 2017
For those wondering:
CIS AOS-
TEEX- Bus for IT + IT Professional = 4 UL
Study.com- Digital Marketing = 3 UL
University- Hardware Support Esentials = 4 LL C
Ed4credit- MIS = 3 UL C
SL- C++ Programming 4 UL
CSU Global - System Analysis & Design = 3 C
Gen Man AOS-
Study.com- HRM, Digital Marketing,
SL - Cost Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Organzitional Behavior.
DAU- Contact Administration, Defense Procurement Management

$250 per course is rather cheap. A lot of people on this forum aren't using financial aid anyway, and I don't see not accepting Study.com as an issue. Many people on this forum completed degrees before Study.com existed. Plus, Study.com doesn't offer many IT courses. CLEP, DSST, and SL cover gen ed just fine.

yes. 250 is very cheap but I was wondering if they could be used like CSU - Global. Where you take a course and transfer it over. I was unable to get a clear answer on that.
I mention not accepting study.com because it may limit the option of different types of ACE credits they accept/how liberal they are with accepting credits. You may have to do a lot of credits through them vs TESU where I did just one test (strategetic management)
This is def a great option for some. I will be recommending it to a friend as an alternative to WGU for him to at least look into.

The credits should be easier to transfer than CSU Global CBEs since CSU Global treats those as non-residence credits. For-credit, in-residence courses from regionally accredited schools almost always transfer if they fit into the degree program. The only exception is that some schools may be hesitant to accept pass/fail courses.
