Because I see most people using them as Free Electives and I do not need to fill any more Free Electives; only Gen Eds. I just want to make sure before I take them because I don't want to waste time/effort on something I can't use.
Only 1 of the TEEX courses can be used as a Gen Ed Elective: Cybersecurity for Business Professionals comes in as CIS-344.
The other 2 come in as CAP courses, and can only be used as Free Electives unless they are approved under the CIS AOS (I think Cybersecurity for IT Professionals can be used in there).
Even though CIS-344 is not listed as an option in the gen. eds. under Understanding the Physical and Natural World?

TESU does not list EVERY course they will accept - they only list their own courses there. So, if you've taken a course similar to what is listed, there's a good chance it will come in where you think it will.
Many of us on this forum have taken all kinds of courses not on the list, and reported back here what things came in as. So you can always ask if you have any doubts.

Just wanted to pop in and say that I asked TESU to preplan some courses and they planned CIS-344 into my NatSci, just like y'all said. So that's pretty neat! I'll take it; free is free lol.

Is that only for a BSBA? Would that be counted as such in any degree program?

Thank you dfrecore. I thought that to be the case, but I was not certain. So the Environmental Science DSST comes in as ENS 200 and that will count as 3 credits toward the Understanding the Physical and Natural World as well? I know in these forums people have said to contact TESU and ask them, but does that really work if you are not enrolled? I am starting my two kiddos down this path. One has 18 credits and the other 28. So we would not be applying to TESU for a while yet, so would they answer my questions even though we are not enrolled?

Yes, Environ Sci is a Science course, and will fit in that area; and no, they probably won't answer you if your'e not enrolled. Just keep coming here with questions, we will help.

They applied 4 in my BS in HSEM degree. They may have applied all 6, but I have a ton of excess HSEM type of credits and they added other subjects.
Out of curiosity, how did the TEEX courses transfer to Excelsior (course names & numbers)? Are any of them listed as upper-level credits? Thanks for the info!

I'm BACK! A lot of setback due to other responsibilities. I re-registered on all of the courses for Cyber 101, 201, 301. I just checked ACE Registry Credit and it will expire this month. How likely it is for me to finish all these and get the 6 credits? Any advise on which courses I should focus on?
