Shmoop added new courses again
#1
Less helpful, but still cheap!

Intro to Biology
Intro to Chemistry
Intro to Physics

Human Sexuality
Psychology 101

I'm assuming that these will all come in like any other of the similar courses offered elsewhere, and I'm guessing Human Sexuality will come in as BIO-201 (since I took it in college as a LL course, and this is what it came in as).

No one else offers human sexuality, but the rest are offered a thousand other places. Sigh.

Human sexuality is normally a psychology course.

The 4-yr state school where I took it considered it an Anthropology course.

Saylor has 2 Physics courses, UExcel has a 6cr course, and SL has Physics I & the lab. Maybe 1,000 was an exaggeration, but seriously, you can find all of these lots of other places.

I agree that they're all chasing after the same dollar, and need to differentiate themselves more. They all just need to stop trying to be everything to everyone and specialize. Look at the Big 3 degrees, and find somewhere to make your mark. Shmoop is onto something wit Lit, Propero does CJ, Study.com and Davar have lots of Business courses. Break away and offer what no one else is offering.

"Thousand" was obviously not meant to be taken literally. There aren't even a thousand different alternative credit providers.
