At first, I planned on completing all of the Math Courses at Shmoop and make a review. I completed the Pre-Algebra I, tried the unit tests on Pre-Algebra II, Algebra I and II, Mathematics I-III, PreCalculus but I was disappointed with the way the test is created. I really liked Math because of the challenge of solving problems, calculations, etc. There are few calculations on the unit tests but I don't like those questions like "Which of the following is NOT...this and that, blah blah blah". I found questions that doesn't even have the right answers on the choices. Maybe a typo but, come on, f(x)=2x+3 is different from -2x+3. I checked my solutions few times and I know I have it right but it is not on the choices. I just completed the ALEKS Intro to Stat recently and after 3 days, finished the College Algebra. I know I don't need it since I already got the CLEP College Algebra back in 2007. I just want to take it as a review because I want to take the PreCalculus next.
In my opinion, I would stick to ALEKS for math courses.
Thanks by the way to all of the reviews about the Literature courses. I can't wait to complete those!

Thanks for all the good info. Which of these would fulfill "info lit" at tesu? Other than possibly the Bible one.

I am not a math whiz, but I thought I found 2-3 questions without proper answers too. One of them seemed very obviously wrong, with the error being in the question. It seems like any beta tester or reviewer should have caught it.

As the course went on I started getting the hang of it and finished the course at 80%. I only used the summaries, themes, characters and analysis, I didn't read the full plays. I didn't feel the sarcastic/witty writing style worked too well here, by the end of course I was feeling a little tired of it and felt that the subject deserved a more neutral tone. Completed over the weekend.
I did the first unit of Shakespeare's Plays and felt it was pretty hard. I felt some questions were pretty subjective with multiple good answers, worded in a strange way, etc. It's got me a bit scared of continuing in that course, but I probably will try one more unit before I decide if I'll do a different Lit course instead. Maybe I'll get the hang of it too.
I've also looked over some of the Drugs in Literature material and plan to try a unit test any day now.

LIT 242 - Biblical Literature 1 for Shmoop's Bible as Literature (did not come over as non-western)
LIT 399 - Special Topics in Liteature for Shmoop's Modernist Literature (it is definitely being applied as an UL class on my degree plan).
LIT 208 - English Literature 1 for Shmoop's British Literature
Hope that helps someone else in their planning and it confirms what a few other people have already posted.
Do you know if Shmoop's Modernist Literature or any of the other Shmoop Lit courses will fulfill the Information Literacy requirement at TESU? Do you know if Shmoop's Mathematics 1 will count as an elective credit or is it not a high enough level math course?
Thanks for the help.

Has anyone seen how Shmoop LIT or Math transfers into Excelsior or COSC?
I submitted my transcript with the 3 history courses to Excelsior and Ill be able to report on that if anybody is curious.
