Does this mean the TEEX-252 Business Cyber Security course will now fill a CIS elective? I've read in the past that TESC will count that as a business course, has that changed now?

They've applied it as CIS credit at least twice. TEEX-251 is, at least as far as we've seen, duplicate credit with the Fundamentals of Cybersecurity DSST.

And for those who don't recall which is which when reading this later (I had to to go back to ACE and check):

TEEX-250 = Cybersecurity for Everyone
TEEX-251 = Cybersecurity for IT Professionals
TEEX-252 = Cybersecurity for Business Professionals

That's great news! I've taken 250 and 251 but avoided 252 because I thought it wouldn't count for CIS, but now I have a chance to earn 2 more credits. Thank you!

I know you get 2 duplicate credits for the DSST, but from what I've read of the Cybersecurity DSST exam feedback, it seems INCREDIBLY difficult- I don't know if it's worth the effort to get the 1 extra non-duplicating credit.

Yeah, should of phrased that better. I took it before there were too many reviews. I meant it'll get the same CIS credit as the test. Still happy I took it, but probably wouldn't if I had it to do over.

I thought the Cybersecurity DSST came in as CIS-344 and was no longer a duplicate to 2 of the TEEX credits. Is this not correct?

Answered my own question.

Oh, I'm not taking the Cyber Security DSST. I avoided the TEEX-252 Business Cyber Security course because I believed it counted as business credits and not one in a computer field. From the previous posts, it looks like this would mean with the 3 TEEX Cyber Security courses, I'd be able to get 6 credits in computer related courses now rather than 4 in computers and 2 in business.
