"Ironically, once I've got that piece of paper I can jump straight onto a masters in the UK and it'll be seen as very interesting .... go figure "

Were you looking for a specific masters? As I recall, there's a university in England that doesn't require an undergraduate degree to obtain the masters. Would that sort of thing help you? It's not one of your top-tier schools, but it wasn't a degree-mill, either.
TESU BSBA - GM, September 2015

Yes, I'm looking at the GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) which will convert my fast track USA degree in "Basket Weaving" into a fast track British law degree Smile

I understand your point about how difficult it is to find a proctor. In Europe, it seems not to be a common thing that someone administers exams to another person on behalf of a school or the examining body. It took me some time to be able to get a Librarian of the Regional Library here in Slovakia accept to proctor my TECEP. They seem not to understand why a school will send its questions miles away only to be administered by a third party who is not on the staff roll of the school. I was already going to use the British Council when the Library head approves that the regional library accepts to serve as my proctor.

Do you have a British Council near where you reside? British Council is another organization that does administer exams on behalf of universities and examination bodies.

I've spoken to the education section of my local British Council, and they simply think it's bizarre that I think such a thing is possible lol
I'm going to ask my local library next week, when I get a chance ... maybe I need to start offering "moolah" in my opening sentence Smile
Guy Ritchie could make a movie .... imagine a thick East London accent .... "Ere's some cash, you watch the girl take the exam" .... lol

Yes, I'm all about offering cash now .... I can see it will be the only way to go, and if it works, it would make life a lot easier Smile
