Hi,
I just recieved my REA for Algebra. Chapter 1 was Greek to me which means I am in trouble. Last Math class was in high school 25 some years ago. I also will need to CLEP out of Chemistry (don't laugh =)
I obviously will need additional resources and am looking for sugestions.
Thanks for your time.

If it's that bad, maybe a local community college on-line class? They're just as cheap--you'll have to be studying for a while anyway, and you'll have someone to explain that which you don't understand and you'll know what's on the test. If you get one of those compressed Winter or Summer classes--it miight only take 4-6 weeks. Just a thought.

I am totally in the same sinking boat. I am using Standard Deviants Pre-Algebra from Netflix (library has them also) to give me the base I should already have. I also took every Dummies, Idiots, and Confused book home from the Library and I'm working through them. The fog is just starting to clear a little, but this is not a quick process. Most classes I can knock out in three to six weeks at the most, but I think this will be two to three months for me. I just don't have the foundation that I need.
Where are you? Maybe we can suffer, I meant study together.
