I have been studying this test for almost one month. My Peterson test scores are 56% 56% and 62% respectively, and I also took the official test with the score of 65%. Am I ready to take the real test?
I will be taking this test on Thursday(Aug 5) Good Luck to me.

I am still working on the essay though. It is so much pain and I just want to give it up.

What essay? I haven't taken History yet, just American so it'll be nice to see how you do.

I'm also preparing for this test and AFAIK there's no essay requirement for this test.
Where did you get the idea that an essay is needed?

man i just took this test today; and i have to stay 90% of the stuff i studied wasn't even on there. Most of the answer selections to the questions were very subjectively worded and vague. Hopefully i passed.

BTW, any feedback from the test?

I took the test on paper, so i won't know my score until it gets graded and sent to my school. As far as feedback, i'm trying to remember some of the questions, because i took the test right after a long work shift.
I would suggest reading a couple good history books. The questions were broad and didn't really require specific answers. It wasn't really mix and match. The best way i could describe it is imagine taking one of the practice tests out there and reword every question a couple times so that it appears to be a whole new question.
It seemed like most of the questions were asking stuff like, Which paragraph best describe "such and such movement", in the (insert)th century.
