Does anyone know what score is equivalent to 100% on the non-refreshed DSST exams? I know the refreshed exams range from 200-500, but I can't find anything that gives the top score for the older exams. Thanks

There's no way to know. They calculate your score based on a the sample scores of test takers (private) and your raw score (private) and roll it into a scaled score (your score). Percents are not given.
It's likely that you can get a pefect score with fewer than 100% correct. Also, don't assume that getting only 10% of the questions is a failure, it might still be a pass.

What Jennifer said - Plus, I believe the range of scores for non-refreshed DSSTs is 20-80 like CLEPs.

It is true that the original, norm-referenced DSSTs have scaled score ranges from 20 to 80, just like the CLEPs.
Therefore, if you answered all of the questions correctly, you would undoubtedly receive an 80. However, depending upon the difficulty of the test, you could receive a high score like an 80 by answering slightly less than all of the questions correctly. The difficulty of the test is judged by the mean number of correct items and standard deviation (spread) of the correct items when given to a group of people.
This document gives all of the technical info -

I referenced it in an earlier post, but it does have quite a bit of good information for those interested in the underlying mathematics in scoring the DSST.

A DSST passing score of 47 will look just as good as a DSST passing score of 80. TESC will give you a lovely grade of "CR" :p

Yeah, that is true... my local CC gives me a grade of "T" for every passed CLEP/DSST. At this point, my transcript has a lot more T grades than actual letter grades between examinations and the PLA program! But I still do like to know how I stacked up versus the testing pool and how much information I actually retained. In every one of the tests I've taken thus far, I did learn quite a few things that I didn't know before, so it is rewarding to me to see a high passing score too. It's also why I like to figure out how the scaled scores are obtained - chalk it up to the mathematician in me.
