I have tried to figure out how study.com works. I haven't been able to understand if they use a textbook or not.
would appreciate if someone could help me.

No textbook. All video-based, although they have a written transcript of the video below it (I did my entire courses that way, no videos watched at all).

There are no textbooks. There are short video lectures (presumably for the more visual or auditory learners) and transcripts of the videos for those who prefer to just read the text.
