I may have understood this incorrectly, but thought that the 1 credit Sophia courses were free. One in the family tried to work on 1 this weekend and was prompted that she need become a member to get past Section 1.
Thank you for your insight!

Sophia.org changes occurred August 1st, 2020 - You will need a membership to take any of their courses, it's only $79/month and you get to do 2 courses at a time until your membership runs out. Technically, you can do "MANY" courses and the 1 credit courses become "FREE" if you complete them along with say, College Readiness, Ancient Greek Philosophers, and any of the other courses you may want to take... I would even recommend doing a few months with Sophia.org to get as many ACE credits as possible! They're right now the hottest ticket to getting CHEAP/EASY/FAST credits, hands down!

Even if you somehow only manage to complete 2 classes at Sophia during that month, they're still cheaper credit-for-credit than any other alt provider at this time.
