I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Never even heard of such a thing. We employ them throughout the hospital and within all of our physician groups. They are seen as equivalents in Florida.

Is there some misunderstanding here about what a DO is? Why in the world would that not be covered by insurance. That's not even a new health care act thing...

DO means doctor of osteopathic medicine , right?
Some are chiropractors and some work under the name of functional neurologist.
Has anyone on this forum been a patient of one of those docs??

not really
graduates of a DO program can take the USMLE and can do the exact same residencies as MDs
10:11 - 14:54 of this video

(the sound is echoy and tinny and not very good)
they also have the exact same entrance requirements to get into DO school (including taking the MCAT)
and the 4 years of DO school is the same science and clinical courses as a med school
she has lots of other good videos too
