First, last time DSST let some courses expire, they posted it in red on their website under each exam, well in advance. This leads me to believe that this is just temporary.
DSST seems to keep the same basic courses out there, but of course if one is not popular, they seem to take them out of rotation once in a while.
Business Law II went away in 04 after 14 years
Intro to the Modern Middle East went away in 2013 after 23 years
Introductory College Algebra went away in 04 after 14 years
Principles of Financial Accounting went away in 2010 after 20 years
Just looking at volume of the expired courses, they all seem fairly popular except Physical Science - only 23 people took it in FY2016. No tracking that I can see of Geology for some reason.
