If you haven't gotten the REA books go get them. They are really the only source you need to get 65+ scores on these tests. I consider InstantCert and others as supplemental to the REA book.

I took the History of the U.S. I CLEP and passed with a 73 and am currently studying for History of the U.S. II. The REA guide was great for U.S. History I, but doesn't seem detailed enough for II, and I also found the Hippocampus videos to be very helpful for both tests. Also, your InstantCert subscription will give you access to not only the flashcards, but also the "Specific Feedback" section, which has some great info and specifics on each exam. So far, History of the U.S. I seems to be easier than II -- somewhat more concrete facts instead of kind of abstract concepts.
