SLG122170, Congrats on passing! can you tell me how many questions there were on the test and which test was it, the htyh or substance abuse?

I would also like to know more about the HTYH DSST Exam. I have a Nutrition Book at home for a class I was taking at TESC; however, I was unable to complete for some personal reasons and now I'm looking to CLEP out of the exam.

What other things would you think we should study to prepare for the exam? How long was the test?

Also, which Peterson practice test did anyone take for studying? Under the DSST I did not see an exam for HTYH. First time taking one and learning how to navigate through the sites!

Unless you're DoD affiliated (military or such), there isn't a Petersons practice test available for this one unfortunately.

It's not a bad exam and the feedback thread's got a lot of good information on there.

I used the HTYH practice test on Free Clep Prep.com and the IC flashcards only and got a 445 the other day. This test had a lot of common sense information on it in my opinion.

I took both of these test this morning and passed with a 420 on the htyh and a 415 for substance. Using the IC website and all the other links that some of gave me as well as getting the books through my school library made the tests a lot easier. Both tests were mutlitple choice and 95 questions. Good luck to those who are still taking tests. Its official I now have my degree.

Good tests to take together as there was some overlap from SA to HTYH. I used pass your class .com materials, instant cert, petersons, free Cleo prep .com and the specific exam forum.
